Hilary Anderson, Community Planning Director, City of Coeur d’Alene. Hilary has been leading the City’s planning efforts since November 2014 with a focus on placemaking, economic development and community engagement. Prior to that, Hilary was the Planning & Economic Development Manager for the City of Post Falls for 3.5 years and worked as a professional planning consultant throughout the west for 13 years. Hilary is an active member of the American Planning Association and Urban Land Institute. She serves on the Board of Directors for APA Idaho as the Region 1 Representative  and serves on the Board of Directors for CDA 2030, the greater Coeur d’Alene community visioning organization. She has also served on the North Idaho College Workforce Training Center Advisory Board, Inland Northwest Partners Board of Directors, the Community Choices for Idaho Advisory Committee, and the CEDS (Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy) Committees for Region 1 of Idaho.  Hilary holds a M.S. in planning and a B.A. in psychology from the University of Arizona.
